About
The narrative we’re often sold: becoming a mother means we are somehow less than, is a complete lie.
"I was certain motherhood wouldn't change me. But it did. Almost Overnight."
I spent the majority of my twenties and early thirties focused solely on carving out a career for myself. I intentionally climbed the corporate ladder to positions of senior leadership, and my title and earning potential completely defined me. I was focused, driven and ambitious — and I liked this version of myself. I was so committed to her that the idea of becoming a mum rarely crossed my mind.
Until it did.
Motherhood caught me completely off guard. And when I started talking to other mothers, I realised I wasn’t alone — we were all feeling it, and all accepting it as a normal part of motherhood. Nobody knew what to do about it. And honestly, there wasn’t much out there to help. So in a desperate bid to save my own experience, I started applying the tools I had as a coach to the weird, wonderful and sometimes utterly terrifying world of motherhood.
And what I found changed everything.
I realised that the narrative we’re often sold — that becoming a mother means we are somehow less than — is a complete lie. We are more equipped, more resilient, more capable than we’ve ever been. Armed with drive, grit, empathy and a strength we didn’t know we had.
That’s exactly why The Mum Edit exists.
As an accredited transformational life coach, I work with mothers who have changed since having children but aren’t quite sure how, or who feel a little lost, stuck, or like something needs to shift. Whether you’re navigating the identity shift, returning to work, or building something of your own — I’m here to help you get so clear on who you are and what you want that everything else starts to fall into place. The goals, the boundaries, the noise that never seems to stop — it all gets simpler when you know yourself.
If any of that sounds familiar — welcome. You’re exactly where you need to be.
